WHAT IS IT?

New Hope Little Hoopsters is an INTRODUCTORY basketball weeknight FUNdamentals camp for boys and girls currently in kindergarten through second grade who are looking for a fun and positive environment to be introduced to the exciting sport of basketball.

WHO CAN PLAY?

BOYS and GIRLS who are CURRENTLY in KINDERGARTEN through the SECOND GRADE.

WHEN IS THE “FUNDAMENTALS” CAMP?

Sessions will run each Monday for 5 weeks beginning Monday, February 20 ending Monday, March 19 with the awards ceremony. This session will run each Monday night with only one, one hour session 6:00 to 7:00 pm. Registrations will be taken (through the church office) through February 3 or until the camp is full. It will fill fast so get yours in early!

WHERE IS THE “FUNDAMENTALS” CAMP?

The camp will be held in the New Hope Baptist Church gymnasium.

CAMP DIRECTOR

The camp will be directed by former high school basketball coach Dale Conner. Coach Conner has been involved in coaching for over 20 years, including several years as a varsity boys head basketball coach. Volunteers, current players, and youth coaches make up the staff for Little Hoopsters.

OUR GOAL

The goal will be to play and have fun while learning some basic basketball “FUN”damentals. Sessions will be centered on teaching the players these introductory skills. It is our goal that all players be valued no matter what their skill level.
