Staff
Pastor Bill graduated from Boyce Bible School and has been in the ministry since 1976. He has pastored throughout Ohio and in Kentucky. The founding pastor of New Hope, Pastor Bill has been serving the church since 1994. He married Linda in 1970 and has been blessed with two children and five grandchildren. He serves as Police Chaplain for four departments in Loveland, Ohio, and enjoys spending time with his family. Pastor Bill loves to shepherd his congregation and considers them to be the greatest group of people that he has ever pastored.
Darrell joined the New Hope staff in April of 2006 as Associate Pastor/Youth. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Clear Creek Baptist Bible College in Kentucky and His Masters of Religious Education from Liberty University. Darrell has served in full time ministry since 1994 in churches in Kentucky, Virginia and now back in his home state of Ohio. He is married to his high school sweet heart, Cheryl, and they have two children (Nick and Kelsey) and three grand children with two more on the way (His Motto: "Keep em coming- the more for him to spoil!"). He enjoys spending time working with the many ministries at New Hope and especially with the youth. In his free time he loves to be with his family, doing projects around the house and traveling as much as possible.
Chris began leading worship in January 1997 and joined the New Hope staff in September 2011. He has served churches in Tennessee, Georgia and Ohio. Prior to accepting the call into full time Christian service, Chris taught music and drama for several years in public and private schools and entertained a short career in radio. He is married to Erika, and together they are the proud parents of Tony, Noah and Chloe. Chris received his doctoral degree in worship theology from The Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies in Orange Park, Florida, and the Master of Music Education and Bachelor of Music from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. He is a strong advocate of worship-leading choirs and has sung in choirs for Don Moen, Lenny LeBlanc, Paul Baloche and others. When not leading worship, Chris can be found listening to his extensive collection of records from the 80's on his many Apple products.
Sam Spiers, Director of Children's Ministries
Sam joined New Hope as a member in 2007 and began serving in the Children's Ministry alongside his wife, Marissa, the same year. Sam is a graduate of Ohio University and in 2011 became the Director of Children's Ministries at New Hope and a new father of a really cool daughter named Elliana. He loves watching the New Kids kids grow in their relationship with the LORD nd considered his service a blessing. His free time os spent getting into new adventures with his wonderful wife and daughter, and his marginally funny jokes have no end.
Curtis began his pastoral ministry in 1982. He has served as a Pastor in Milford, Ohio, and as an Associate Pastor in Mason, Ohio. He also served as a Deacon for twelve years in Blue Ash, Ohio. He attended the Boyce Baptist School. Curtis married Thresia in November 1967, and they have two children, Michael and Brian. They have been blessed with two wonderful daughters-in-law and four wonderful grandchildren. Curtis retired from the General Electric Company after thirty-five years of service.
